Guest guest
Eileen, If you only had an ultrasound done, did they put you under and for what reason if they did? If you weren't put under, what made you think you were having an ERCp? This is perplexing to me. And you, I'm sure. I'll be waiting for your reply before I tell you my thoughts. Sandy in Ca -------------- Original message -------------- hey guys, I just learned today that I had the ultrasound done, not the ERCP. IS the diagnosis still as accurate?? :-(
Guest guest
Hi Sandy! I was definetly out for this. I was out for about an hour, totally sedated. Guest guest
EUS are normally done sedated. But its weird the doc was not clearer with you on exactly what he was going to do. With mine I almost have to pass the PA learning module before I can sign the consent form. But we've had some high profile lawsuits here so they really dot their t's and cross their i's...or something like that! Margaret > > I was definetly out for this. Guest guest
Thanks Margaret. How effective is an EUS in diagnosing, or in my case, saying I don't have CP?? I'm disheartened now. I thought I had a clear bill of health in regards to the pancreas. :-( Eileen > > EUS are normally done sedated. But its weird the doc was not clearer > with you on exactly what he was going to do.
