Guest guest
Eileen, Please check out this linkand read what it has to say. According to it, an EUC is only 10% less effective at diagnosisng pancreatic disorders. I don't want you waiting a months time to see the doctor and thinking you weren't given adiquat (sp) treatment and testing. If you still think the ERCp is necessary, then I would find a way to insist on it. http://www.ddw.org/user-assets/documents/PDF/session_handouts/2005/051705/Endosc\ opic_Ultrasound_in_the_Management_of_Pancreatic_Disorders_Arcidiacono.pdf Sandy in CA -------------- Original message -------------- What do you think? > > Sandy in CA > I really want to thank you for looking that up for me. Dr. Manoukian does't seem to think I have CP, so I suppose did not want to do the ERCP? I have a follow up with him on Dec 22, so I will definetely ask him why and also if the test puts me in the clear or not. I have to admit, I'm disheartened. I saw (I think it was Butch's) post on EU vs ERCP and I went to check.
