Guest guest
Thanks for your help- to you and the others that responded- we are still new to this disease and have a lot to learn. The enzyme numbers seemed odd before- but now I understand. The doctors are watching the enzyme levels, but are not going by them religiously. As everyone said, it isn't the most important thing and may no longer be reliable. Our health care providers don't seem to be forthcoming with information- but we are learning to be pushy in getting answers to questions. I have had a 10 days hospital stay where my A & L numbers werren't all that high and a 5 day stay where they were, what I thought to be high until talking to others on this board, very high. > > And after you have gone chronic, there is a point to where your A & L levels won't raise anymore, just like says. I haven't hit that point yet. > > Hope that also helps. > > Sandy in Ca > > -------------- Original message -------------- > Jeanette I can only speak from my own personal experience here.
