Guest guest
Got my latest lab reults in the mail. I also learned that triglicerides and cholestrol are different things. 6 months ago LDL's 217 HDL's 30 Triglycerides 161 Today LDL's 84 HDL's 67 Triglycerides 259 I modified my diet, drastically so, and continued drinking ginger ale and Kool Aide, signifigantly so. And the dietician came to see me in hospital and never said cut down on simple sugars. UG! Triglycerides are causing the pancreatitis. Sugar is triglycerides. Double UG! I think this doctor was standing behind a colon when they handed out medical dgrees. Guest guest
I love my dietician. I'd be dead if it was not for her.She reminds my PCP of that, often (<G>) Here is the bit on triglicerides and sugar from " ask the dietician " http://www.dietitian.com/triglyce.html You're doing better than my cousin, she was living on Dr. Pepper (with Short Bowel Syndrome, a VERY bad idea) and her's were 600!
