Guest guest
Well the surgery was Monday and my husband came through really great. He had a Roux-en-y to drain his pseudocyst. The spleen was not varicosed so they left it alone. He is trying to rest in the hospital but I don't think you really can with all the constant hubbub. He is on morphine and the only pain he has is from the incisions they made, one is quite large, right down the middle of his stomach/abdomen area. They said the cyst collapsed nicely and he shouldn't experience any more pain from that--so we are hoping for a good outcome. He will hopefully be home between Friday to Monday. Guest guest
Glad your hubby's pseudocyst surgery came out well. In my case it was good they let me rest in hospital for a week since complication developed 5th day. I pray he'll fully recover with no problems. For men a big scar can just be a macho thing. I'm so hairy that 3 months after the big cut, my tummy hair pretty well covers it up top to bottom.
