Guest guest
HI, we have just started giving our son the electrolyte drink to help his constipation, and thankfully it is starting to improve things a little. I was wondering though, how much is recommended to give and also if it is something that we can just continue to give or if it is something that his body may become reliant on (like a lot of the constipation medications). Any info would be great - thank you! Nonni (Mum to 31/2, SCD 5 months)
Guest guest
Hi, Nonni, There is nothing harmful in the electrolyte drink. He can safely drink it every day. In fact, the baking soda and salt combination is very good for the kidneys. Now, as far as amounts--as always, everyone is different. Always increase amounts of anything slowly. If you see a bad reaction, you have increased it too much, so decrease a bit. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
My son takes magnesium for his constipation and it helps tremendously. It's natural and non habit forming.
