Guest guest
That is interesting...because for me it is usually after 2am and before 5 that I will get most of my attacks.. I hope this finds you and yours well.....Mark bad mornings > Hey - i just had a question... the mornings seem to be the worst for > me... after a couple of hours things sometimes settle down... does > anyone have any ideas why the morning is worse? any ways to ease the > discomfort? thanks! > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hey - I've got to agree with you. If the morning responds to drugs I have a good day. Otherwise, I'm in hell for 24 hours. Guest guest
Mornings... Mornings have always been the time when I get pancreatitis attacks that result me in going to hospital for 2 weeks. Mornings are always the time when I either barf, or feel like doing so. I am going to start not eating anything 4 hours before going to bed. Maybe that will help. Too bad tey don't make Phenegran in a liquid to take in the a.m. Hmm, maybe I could grind up one of the pills and have it readily dissolved in a small cup of water? Guest guest
They make it in a liquid. Promethazine HCl syrup, 50 mg. Disgusting, but it comes in a liquid. Margaret .. Guest guest
If you get it start with the small bottle, the taste might make you puke!!! Guest guest
The start of bad mornings for me is all about physical possitioning. I think the pancreas juices gather more in the pancreas and the when I wake the start moving about in a larger concentration? Just my idea. Guest guest
I agree Walt, I'm all about bad mornings. Everyone of my attacks have hit me in the early morning hours between 2-6 am. If I sleep a certain way or lay flat it will do me in and I will suffer pain. Sometimes I really dread going to bed because of the pain it may cause but I love it so much and I have to have it to function normal. Normal, now there is a word that will never take on the same meaning with me again, anyway I agree with your theory of pancreatic juices congregating in the pancreas region while sleeping. If I toss and turn alot I will actually sleep better than laying flat in one position. Just a thought......Hope everyone is " somewhat normal " today. Guest guest
hi all, funny,my pain is worse at night/evening.I wake up feeling fine, but as the day goes on i feel worse and worse.I can go all day without any meds(pain),but by bedtime i need something or the pain is so bad i can't sleep.which has been a problem lately anyway.and does anybody get really tired after eating? i only eat 2 times a day,and here lately i get so tired afterwards,i need a nap.like it drains all my energy just digesting food.hope everyone is well today.
