The trouble as I see it is that it contains 3 cups of burgandy wine for flavor. I am scared to make it because of that and without it, it just isn't the same. I do enjoy a small filet mignon once in awhile but it is just that, small. About 4 or 5 bites. Thats about all my pancreas will handle with minimum pain. See if you can't still eat the steak, in a smaller portion and without the wine. You may be able to tolerate it that way. Since Monday morning my panc has been hurting. It finally went away today. Today it dawned on me... That half glass of wine and that BIG steak was just like taking a knife and cutting my finger, or taking a hammer and hitting myself, or something along those lines.
