Guest guest
Has anyone heard about Interferon (Refib) used for MS helping CP patients, my neurologists claims it reduces the inflammation? If you have an answer I will be glad to hear about it. Thanks in advance and All the Best from Sonja
Guest guest
Sonja, I recently was on peginterferon alfa-2a to treat hepatitis C. I have read about Mds using interferon to treat MS. It is a different kind of interferon but interferon just the same. I was on much higher doses of interferon then they use to treat MS. I was very interested in your post as I was just telling my pancreas MD that after several months of being on my meds I could sleep on my back and left side. I haven't been able to do that since my pancreas issues started. If I slept on my back or left side my pancreas would spasm. But one morning I woke up sleeping on my left side and no pain. I was sooo surprised, so was my MD. Since then, I still can sleep on all sides and my pancreas is still happy. I thought it was the viral load being so low that it calmed the inflammation. But was it the interferon???. Very interesting. Are you on it now? This is very interesting. Talk to you soon. w Wisconsin Sonja Sidorow wrote: Has anyone heard about Interferon (Refib) used for MS helping CP patients, my neurologists claims it reduces the inflammation?
