Guest guest
Sorry, I don't have any advise on nerve blocks, but I do had advise for doctors who say all you have is IBS. RUN...very fast to another doctor. I have been there/done that. I had a local GI tell me the exact same thing for 6 years. I was finally sick of it and went out of state and finally found a GI specialist who treats my CP. NOT IBS. Actually I also have celiac disease (which my GI specialist found also). The old GI doc never once tested me for anything. He was very rude and inconsiderate. Sorry to sound so negative but if it can save you some time in the long run, please find a new doc soon. Take care Kris in TN
Guest guest
IBS is what I call the " universal trashcan diagnosis " . The last time a doctor told me I had IBS, I had a C-Diff infection (and probably would've died if my PCP had not have caught it and got me on Flagyl) I'm wondering how the neuro is going to feel being asked to do a nerve block for IBS?!? That is sure going to look weird on the insurance, that is for sure!!! Margaret > Sorry, I don't have any advise on nerve blocks, but I do had advise > for doctors who say all you have is IBS.
