Guest guest
Hi, I made the yogurt but can't figure out how to flavor it. Mixing honey or sweet n' low doesn't seem to spread out after it is done. The maker says to do this whole mix it with milk on the stove thing, but I am thinking that is wrong for this diet. Can someone tell me how to make it taste good?

Guest guest
Don't add any flavors until the yogurt is done and it has rested for 8 hours in the fridge. Then you stir and can add flavors at that time. I just add honey and vanilla to an individual serving right before I give it to . That way, if I mix it in a banana smoothie that doesn't need honey, it isn't already combined with the honey. Or if I serve it with latkes like sour cream, then I don't want it to be sweet. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
I add flavors to my yogurt after it sits in the fridge. I make 2 gallons at a time and flavor 2 qrts at a time. I add honey and dried powdered strawberries. I dry them in the summer when they are fresh and freeze them that way until I need them so I have strawberries all year for yogurt. I have also added canned " legal " pineapple crushed up and vanilla and/or almond extract (if you can find legal. If you can't handle the fruit, honey and legal vanilla is a good basic yogurt.
