Guest guest
This is just my experience with the two diagnostic tests. I had two ERCP's done within a couple of years of each other (and both ended with me having an acute attack of pancreatitis). Neither showed anything relating to chronic pancreatitis. I went to the Mayo Clinic in ville, FL last year and they performed the EUS and it showed the areas of my pancreas that were damaged, etc. Thus the diagnosis that I have now of CP. I was never diagnosed with CP before the EUS was performed. AND the EUS was a much more tolerable test for me, no acute attacks afterward.
