Guest guest
I would recommend the Redlands Christian Migrant Association of Florida, www.rcma.org. They are a statewide group with excellent child care, migrant head start and charter schools serving farmworker and rural families. You may want to wait a bit- Florida is still in post disaster clean up mode. -Robin Lewy, Rural Women's Health Project
Guest guest
As far as i know a daycare does not have to accept a child with autism (or any other diags) since it is considered a private education. I know that my son's daycare is open to a probationary period, but they are not really equipped with teachers who know how to deal with children on the spectrum. It is a good legal question though and i am looking forward to someone providing us with an exact answer. I have an 18 month old and I was told that if he cried to much and they had to spend to much time with him he would not be able to go there. Just wanted to know if there were any guidelines for this.
