Initial stages of SCD

My son has been peeing in bed almost every night since we started SCD,

about 10 days ago. He's had this problem off and on for years, but

lately had seemed to outgrow it. My husband thinks it's because sugar

retains water and the lack of sugar is releasing all the excess fluid.

It makes sense - especially since I've been going to the bathroom a

lot as well since we started. But I wanted to check if this was

common with others on SCD.

Thanks in advance for your help.

What other vitamins are you giving him in addition to being on SCD?

Right now we're taking the GI Prochild multivitamin, the one that's

SCD-compliant. He also has two fish oil gelcaps.

Yes, this is common when people start the diet. One of the reasons is

that as inflammation decreases the body releases the extra previously

fluid.
