Guest guest
We started our SCD adventure one month ago today, with two days of the Intro Diet. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I knew it had to be better than what we were experiencing. Here are the changes we've noticed so far: Me: not depressed, less feeling like I'm going to pass out, more of a rosy glow to my skin! (previously, I have been very pale, including my lips. Now, I have color!), more restful sleep, hardly any intestinal upset, more energy, less brain fog Son #1: normal BMs for the *first time* in over ten years, no bad breath, loss of peculiar odor on skin (present since he was a baby), no bloody noses and far less stimming! Son #2: more creative instead of just whiny, sleeps better, less gas, less phlegm, not as many tantrums although we are still working on that. Son #3: still constipated but 'leaks', drawing more and verbal skills skyrocketing (not that he's had any problems with these, but he's really improved lately, reading himself to bed each night) Lots of progress for just one month! I'm excited!! Cathe, yeast overgrowth, homeschooling mom to: 15yo ds ASD, OCD, bipolar 10yo ds ADHD, bipolar 6yo ds NT, severe constipation SCD one month
