Guest guest
Hi all. I am looking for scd legal bacon. Does anyone know of any brands? Currently, I allow my son Applegate Farms Organic Pork bacon once a week. I would like the flexiblity of giving it to him more than once a week, since I recently found out that he is highly sensitive (IGG measure) to turkey and chicken. This is really tough to cut from his diet, since they were staples for us. I had the IGG tests done because even after 17mos on SCD we still see dark circles under eyes, red ear and loose stools. We live in Stamford, Ct. Help! son 5yrs old PDD-NOS SCD 17.5 mos

Guest guest
Guawtney (sp) can be found at Walmart and it has a bacon that is not cured in sugar, unless you have local source for fresh cured bacon with no sugar and that is not a common occurance. You just have to read the ingredients to make sure you get the right one. It does have nitrites in it though. Some are sensitive to that. I've found some cheaper brands here and there also that don't have sugar. Bonita SCD Legal Pork Bacon? Hi all. I am looking for scd legal bacon. Does anyone know of any brands? Guest guest
Hi, , The best alternatives to bacon are legal side pork--check with meat manager at the store; it looks like bacon, but has a duller color and does not have the nitrites or sugar--or legal prosciutto fried up crisp. Be aware, though, that bacon is relatively hard to digest. I wouldn't advise using it as a regular substitute for another meat. Have you investigated organic and/or free-range chicken/turkey? Sometimes people who are sensitive to " regular " do fine with the organic or free-range. Also, sometimes people have to try some of the more exotic meats.\ mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
Bonita, I noticed your response is in the middle of 's message. Can you put some returns in, and make some space when you respond so that I can see what you are responding to? It is a little confusing. I have seen other messages from you and deleted them because it looked like you did not say anything. This one I checked because I am very interested in bacon! LOL. I don't want anyone to miss out on the benefits of what any of us are saying! Thanks! Guest guest
, I'm not sure what you mean. What I usually do is just hit reply and space down a few times so there will be space between my response and the email I am responding to. On the bacon email, my response is at the top with my signed name and then a couple of returns. Then 's email is there. I go back up to the top to type my response. So, I'm not sure what's happening. I'll watch that closer. Bonita SCD Legal Pork Bacon? > > > Hi all. I am looking for scd legal bacon. Does > anyone know of any > brands? Guest guest
Bonita, I saw your other e-mails after I sent that one, and those were fine, and now I'm confused too. LOL. Perhaps there are just a few glitchy ones. Or it's just me. B. ASD son, RA self, SCD Nov. 2007 http://scdgirl.blogspot.com ************* --- Bonita Todd wrote: > , > > I'm not sure what you mean.
