Guest guest
I've been feeling terrible, with a very bad headache, insomnia and sometimes nausea. I don't believe it is due to diet (I've been good!), and because the headache is located behind the eyes and forehead, I'm thinking I may have a sinus infection. To make it worse, I'm travelling today: I'm flying out to visit my family (it's been 3 years!) -- and it's my big holiday without kids for a week! I'm worried the flying will make it worse. I don't have time for a doctor, and even if I did, I don't want an automatic antibiotic. (I just survived a month of die-off for heaven's sake!) Does anyone have any really good remedies? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi, , I'm sorry you have to fly today. I recently flew while conjested and landing was very unpleasant! I don't know what you have, but if it's a sinus infection you might need the antibiotics. However, you might try this first: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/nasal-lavage/MM00552 I know Sheila has been talking about neti pots (for nasal irrigation) for a long time, but I've just become convinced of the amazing value of nasal irrigation after seeing it effectively stop a bout of severe conjestion that had not been able to get rid of and then help my husband, who was feeling really horrible, and then help my sister. So it's my new thing to be enthusiatic about. Anyway, try it. It can't hurt. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
Nasal irrigation to keep the sinus passages clean is a wonderful thing. My husband has been doing it for years and that is what keeps him from having frequently reoccuring sinus infections and migraine headaches forming from sinus headaches. He's used different methods over the years. Bonita Re: Help! feeling terrible - sinus infection? Hi, , I'm sorry you have to fly today.
