Does anybody want leftover SCD vitamins?

I have 2 bottles from Freeda: 1 SCD B Complex with C and Zinc and 1 High Potency

SCD

Multivitamin.

We used some of them, but we are no longer following SCD (we are using enzymes).

They

were expensive, so I don't want to waste them.

Let me know--please email me.

Thanks,

Eileen

Hi,

I'm into the diet now for about a month and I would

really appreciate having the vitamins. Everything is

pretty expensive on this diet. The goat's milk alone

is quite high and all the extra chicken, fish and

meat.

Thank you for your consideration.

Since we are talking about these vitamins I have a question...I just ordered

some in the mail, and after looking at the daily percentage values, they seem

very high. I've heard of some people overdosing on vitamins and hurting thier

liver and such. I thought I would just take one pill instead of the 3

recommended pills of the scd high potency multivitamin. I am a 140 pound

female. middle age. What do others think?

Sandy,

I went to the Pecanbread site and looked at the

vitamins. The page I saw says to take one a day.

http://pecanbread.com/new/Sup1.html

Is there another site that says differently?

Thanks for your help.

Sometimes it's hard to remember what I've read with the " brain fog " from meds!

I see now, protocol is just the sdc complex with c and zinc. Yes, I see one

tablet is within safe dosages.

I had also bought the scd calcium complete and scd multivitamin-high potency(

serving size 3 pills). I was thinking I was supposed to take each kind , but

that would be too much of a good thing!

It wouldn't hurt to take the combo of scd calcium complete, and scd B complex

I assume?

and 400 iu of vitamin D sounds safe being a person in wisconsin, who doesn't

get out much in winter!

If there is any other info on taking these vitamins that i've overlooked I

appreciate your knowledge!

Hi ,

I too had brain fog but it was gluten intolerance, so

I here you. LOL.

The vitamin D should be fine. As an aside, I tested

low for vitamin D and I live in Los Angeles!! How

about that! :)

ok one last question....do you think that when I go in for my lab tests for my

imuran, that they could do blood tests to test all the vitamin levels? I don't

know too much in how they check levels of calcium, Vitamin D, E, A, ones that I

think I would be low in. I've always had my iron tested because of fatigue, and

blood loss of course... and that was always ok.

Hi ,

You will have to ask your doctor if he will add it to

the lab order. I don't know what tests they have to do

to check for those, exactly. She ordered so many I

don't know which was which.

I was put on Imuran. I was only on it a week and I was

so fatigued it was ridiculous. I only figured it out

because I missed a dose and then I felt better. And

then I missed another dose on purpose and the same

thing happened. Naturally I called my doc.

My doctor wanted me to stay on it and I told the nurse

practitioner that I was not going to continue to take

it. So that was that.

yes, hoping the scd diet will help me to wean off the imuran, and prednizone, as

we all know the side effects of those awful drugs. I feel like I really need

them now though. Will talk to my doctors about vitamin levels! thanks!

Hi ,

Yes I do know. I am on sulfasalazine and Enbrel and

would love to get off those eventually as well. If

they are working for you now, that is great.
