Guest guest
We had terrible problems with constipation in the past but I seemed to have reached a point where my daughter is going up to 3 times a day (BM) not soft, well formed and without any problems. I have been giving her 3x 2 Kirkmans Enzyme-Complete/DPP-IV and 3x1Kirkmans lactobacillus 3.0 billion CFU's for the past week, now today she has started again to bring up during her seizures a brown substance. I am sure it is food. It is the third day she had her seizure at 11.25 am during her sleep , which is very interesting, because before, her seizures could not be placed at any specific time. She has her breakfast between 8a.m. and 9a.m. Could you tell me if I am giving her too much, or how I should persue? Beate (mother to s 15 years, severe reaction to vaccination on diet since Jan. 2006 stage three foods. Very little yoghurt(home made)

Guest guest
Hi, Beate, I am sorry no one answered your question. I don't know anything about seizures. I have not heard that too much enzyme causes vomiting. If you think it is the enzymes, try reducing the amount of enzyme slightly. I would not reduce too much because they seem to be doing your daughter a lot of good--helping with constipation and formed BMs. Have you joined the Enzymes and Autism group? Maybe someone there knows. Is there a seizure group you could ask? mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
