Hi everyone,

Today is the day: DECEMBER 15th IS FINALLY HERE!!!!

My husband and I went to clinic yesterday and met the infamous Dr. R.. He was a

very nice man, attractive, bright and down right funny. He was very serious at

times but threw in a few little one liners and he told some great stories.

His memory is like that of an elephant.

When we went in, it was a small room I thought, (I imagined

it larger) and there were probably 30 people there.

As you have been told, we watched a video, Barbara talked to us and told us how

to find out what time surgery was by calling hospital and we looked at a foam

tummy. Old and new foam tummy. I am sorry but that was a great learning tool.

You get to see, first hand, the before and after tummies. And the exact staple

lines that will be in you tummy are in the foam. Oh, the staples won't set off

any metal detectors at the courthouse or the airport!

We all introduces ourselves and told a little about ourselves and how we found

out about Dr. R. He was surprised to hear that I have been watching from the

internet for over 2 years and his first number of patients that I saw was 69.

Anyway, after his talk and questions from the group, you go to a small room to

talk privately. We did and was out of there in 2 1/2 hours.

It was nice, informative, and fun!

Now for wait for surgery.

My surgery is at 11:30. I must be at the hospital at 8:30. Hopefully, I will

taken in sooner.

Well, I am off. Jackie will be posting for me tonight. She will give you all the

details!
