6 months and growth?

I have a friend who started her dd on SCD for IBD about six months ago. She was

hoping to be seeing good gains in her dd's weight and height by now, but it

hasn't happened. She was wondering if there is a lag time for some people

before these gains happen?

Thanks for any input. Since my dd started to gain weight right away (aided by

large amounts of prednisone and the huge appetite that goes along with that), I

don't have much input for her.

My son has been SCD for almost three months. He is still a bag of bones, but he

has grown taller. That is just as amazing for him as putting on weight. He is 8

years old and was the same height as his 4 year old brother. I don't really know

what to say to the friend though.
