Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge about a link with asthma and food? What foods are common triggers for asthma flare ups? Thanks, Belle --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
Belle, I have asthma, but I do not have attacks. Asthma and allergies can be aggravated if you eat foods you are sensitive to, however. It is a theory known as allergic load. So if your seasonal allergies are bad, you will start having trouble with more food intolerances than normal. I hope that makes sense. B. Guest guest
My husband's asthma is exacerbated by chocolate and by yellow dye. The yellow dye suggestion was made by our son's DAN doctor as an aside after listening to my husband wheeze throughout 's appointment! My husband has had a hard time eliminating it and reading labels - LOL - but it has made a big difference in his asthma FWIW.
