That " Caveman " diet is a little different from the old

diet I used to follow (the Paleo diet). I would

consider it something to try if you want a

transitional diet before starting SCD. But I never saw

the same level of benefits in myself with that diet. I

like SCD better and there is healing taking place in

myself, healing I didn't even know I needed. I don't

think the Caveman diet as outlined is even as

beneficial as the straight Paleo diet and it's pretty

well established that kefir is hard on our systems.

On the actual Paleo diet, by Loren Cordain, no

potatoes of any kind are allowed, nor is kefir. There

are no supplements on the actual Paleo diet either.

Thus I am skeptical of a " Caveman " diet that promotes

supplements and kefir heavily.

It is pretty clear that there are many foods on this

Caveman diet that are too hard to digest. I am afraid

discussing this will confuse people, too. There are

new people cycling into this list constantly asking

similar questions, and they may not be able to

distinguish the difference right away.
