Hi, , The yogurt could certainly be triggering more die-off. We advise just starting with 1/8 teaspoon and working up. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/

Guest guest
Hi, Tabaitha, The 4 month suggestion is for those who have bad die-off symptoms. If things are going really well, you can try it at 2-3 weeks. Enjoy! mom to -12 SCD 4/23/

Guest guest
Hi, Tabaitha, One parent posted that bed-wetting and spaciness in her child happened when something viral was going on. I'm not sure what you should do with that information. To be on an anti-viral Rx on a routine basis is very expensive. If you do try the yogurt, try just 1/8 teaspoon at first and observe for a few days. If he does ok, you can increase by doubling. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
When I started the goat yougurt with my 3 yr old with ASD, we did start with 1/8 tsp. (It seems so tiny!) I got really excited and moved right to 1/2 tsp the next day. (As my 20 mo. old is already up to 3 tbsp.) BIG mistake! He had horrible die-off. I was amazed that a tiny increase could be so different. So I went back to 1/8 tsp. and have stayed there for 2 weeks. Hope that helps! Guest guest
No, no! Don't feel stupid! One thing I've really learned here is that it is REALLY easy to make little (or big) mistakes. (In fact I recently gave my 3 yr old too many bananas in one day, and boy am I paying for that one!) When you actually measure out 1/8 tsp. it looks laughable. I actually thought it was ridiculous, and wondered if he could actually even taste that little. It wasn't until I went to a 1/2 tsp. I realized how powerful the yogurt is! Now I just add it into something he's already eating- or he's sad he gets so little. (He LOVES even that tiny amount.) Good luck! It must have fed his yeast and bacteria because the next day we were back to diarrhea and now his pee has had REALLY strong ammonia smell in the morning again.
