My son DOES swallow toothpaste. Is there anything he can use?

Don't use anything more than a pea-sized amount then,

with any toothpaste, and definitely do not use any

with fluoride.

There are no SCD legal toothpastes that I'm aware of.

Can you work with him not to swallow?

There is a recipe for homemade toothpaste at

If you don't like/can't use peppermint or wintergreen you can try a

different flavour or just leave it plain. Other flavours like legal

cinnamon extract, legal lemon extract etc...

I made this recipe, and it works GREAT for my 3 year old. (Who always

swallows toothpaste!)
