anti-caking ingredient

My salt contains salt, sodium silicoaluminate, sodium thiosulfate,

potassium iodide

Does anyone happen to know if the two sodium anti caking agents are

dangerous/illegal? The aluminate makes me think aluminum.

Hi, Aimee,

Aluminate is indeed aluminum, but I do not know how stable the

compound is in the body--whether it would break down or not. I cannot

find these two compounds on the legal or the illegal additive list.
