Is Real Food-food coloring legal?

Hi,

My son's having a birthday party for his 4th birthday next weekend,

and I would like to color his cake frosting with some beet juice food

coloring. (or at least write Happy Birthday with it).

I found it today at Whole Foods, and here's the label:

SEELECT

100% Natural

RED/PINK (Beet Juice)

Food Color

Ingredients:

Water, Glycerin, Beet Juice Extract

Is this legal? (fingers crossed!) I figured I could woefully return

it, if not. :-)

Elaine trusted extracts from reputable companies. I think there's a

good chance this is legal, but I don't know the company. I hope if

anyone has used it, they will let you know.
