Dear Carla,

I am so glad you're past your nausea. Not with this procedure, but at other

times, I have experienced nausea and its the PITTS !! I think your question

regarding intake in a certain time frame is common. At first I didn't want

to take more than a couple tablespoons at a time. I could nurse a 12 ounce

container all day. One of my main complaint in the month after surgery is

that I was thirsty all the dang time. For me, skim milk was an obsession.

Keeping in mind that I am nearly 3 months post op, I could probably do 4

ounces in an hour. (Not with eating but just a juice at my desk.) I keep

an 8 ouncer in the car for trips and that bottle may linger a week. I, like

you, have no intention of stretching out my new tummy.

Let us know how your progress.

I have tried and tried to unsubscribe and I cannot. It's not that I am not

interested, but

due to the fact that my Dad is terminally ill, I will not be able to have the

surgery for quite

some time. Please! Someone tell me how to do it. I used the egroups address

and it

will not work. Deb
