I just met my nutritionist and he advised me to take supplements: VitB

and Folic Acid. Maybe somebody can recomment legal brand and if it's OK

to take it with diet.

Yes, it is okay to take Vit B complex and folic acid with SCD.

Elaine wrote about it in BTVC (you can check out the section on

vitamins in chapter 9.

Thank you , I am on Chapter 7 now... 2 more to go ) I was just

curios if it is normal that after period of time having everything

under control and then another outbreak. Does my son need to live

whole his life on this diet. I am not too sure how he could do it

without my cooking.

Does anyone know if " Friendship " farmer cheese is allowed. Book said

if it's creamed is not allowed. So, legal or illegal? Label reads:

Made from Cultured pasteurized skim milk, cream and salt.

I'm sorry, I don't know. Sheila would know more about UC and whether

your son will need the diet his whole life.

Some people do have a flare up at about 3 months into the diet ( I

did).

Many people are able to do the diet and after (at least) 1 year of

being symptom free are able to add some illegals back into their

diet. The length of time that it takes to get symptom free will

depend on the severity of symptoms and other factors.

, I bought 2 supplements today. I was doing search and still not

sure if they are legal. Maybe you might know, Bluebonnet Vitamin C

and Country Life Coenzym B-Complex Caps. I do not know if you need to

know what exactly it contains, just please let me know... BTW, my son

today was so happy with what he've seen in the toilet (and that is

without any medications!!)so far....

The Country Life product is legal. The Bluebonnet Vitamin C I was not

able to research because Bluebonnet has many different C products.

Could you please list the ingredients?
