Guest guest
Dear MGB Family, Chapter 732 in the continuing saga of " As the Insurance Turns " . My call yesterday regarding my Grievance Committee Meeting with Premier was not good. My denial was upheld based on lack of medical necessity. As you recall, Premier had to cough up the criteria to the Missouri Department of Insurance, who, in turn, provided the criteria to me. In my meeting Tuesday, I carried in volumes of supporting documentation as to how I meet the criteria. In the call yesterday Premier informed me that they had provided the Department of Insurance " old criteria " that they don't use anymore. They said in my denial letter that I will get the " new criteria. " (Don't worry, I'm not holding my breath.) I want to say that I am extremely frustrated but just getting good and warmed up for the fight now. Were it not for the joy of the season and the powerful sense of calm I had knowing your prayers were with me and that God had me snuggled in his palm, I would be profoundly depressed (if not homicidal at this point.) Continue to keep me in your prayers as I listen for the direction to take. Best Holiday Wishes, Tarri in Missouri MGB 09-29-00 329/
