Guest guest
I'm having difficulty even finding one. I live in a very rural area....none here that can or will do it they seem a bit scared as to what the Dr might..... Kathy & , I was right on the line getting my packet in when this change was made, so I had asked many of the same questions you have. I was told that a " licensed " psychologist can perform the evaluation. In Ohio, this means that the psychologist must have a Ph.D. It may be different in your state, so check into it. I personally preferred this option as I feel psychologists are more " in tune " with doing evaluations, more readily accessible and available, and less likely to put you off because they won't make enough money off of you with just one visit. I hope this helps you. Peggy in Ohio 12/29/
