Guest guest
Whew it has really been an MGB week for me. The week started off with dinner with Margaret Bell and Vicki Amos. We had Chinese. umm acutally we each ordered 2 bowls of soup and had some of both. Wednesday I was with Holley, my new sister, and my new niece Christy while she had her MGB. had to stay in the hospital at bbit longer than most but is doing well. She should be back at the hotel on Saturday morning. While there I also got to meet from Winston-Salem and Debby from Arizona. seemed to be doing well but Debby was having alot of gas pains. Her mom, Helga, was being a very helpful and dutiful nurse. Wednsday night I got to meet Joni aka Sleepless in Seattle. She got in on Wednesday for ther MGB on Friday. We met at the hospital again on Thursday night to check on . I really like Joni and her family. They are wonderful!! Tonight I went to check on our dancers. I didnt get to meet everybody but I did see Joni, Debbie from Tenessee, Gerri from Lynchburg,VA, Janet Ramos and another lady whose name I forgot. Joni is doing well. She had a little nausea but had made 3 rounds in the halls by the time I got there. Debbie looked great. She didnt even look like she had surgery... no pain or nausea. Gerri was doing very well also. She was alert and talkative and full of questions when I popped in to say Hi. Janet Ramos was well also. She was suffering a bit with gas but we know it comes with the surgery. The other lady, I think her last name was Tinsley? was doing well, up and walking the halls. Now that I have made sure that all the MGBers are doing well, I can get out of town for the Holidays. I am not traveling too far just 2 hours east to Greenville. I am leaving in the morning. To the whole MGB family... Merry Christmas and a Joyous Kwanzaa.
