Guest guest
I joined a celiac list that's been operating since 1995 and is full of gluten free information. It is important to me for a voice to be heard about SCD so it was rewarding to have my membership and article accepted on the site: http://www.celiac.com/articles/21506/1/The-Specific-Carbohydrate-Diet- is-an-Excellent-Gluten-Free-Diet-Option/Page1.html The editor comments that celiac disease cannot be " cured. " and from discussions I've had with my friend Lass, a fellow celiac, cookbook author and medical script writer, we are agreed that we are nor cured but our disease is well managed and controlled. I know in my case it is an autoimmune reaction to wheat and other grain. I'm hoping I don't wear out my welcome in the gluten free community, but SCD™ is after all, a gluten free diet. Being me, of course a mis-spell slipped by and I will try to correct it. It was the word " adult " :-) Carol F.
