Guest guest
Hello everyone. I am back from dancing with the doctor. I must admitt that the dance was an easy one for me. My surgery took 27 minutes. I had no nausea/vomiting and just pain from the gas after surgery. My surgery was at 7:30 and I took my last dose of pain meds at 11:00. I feel very fortunate to have done so well. I went home the next morning and havn't had any pain (except some cramps when I burp :>) I can't believe that I'm not hungry. I literally have to remember to drink. I want to thank everyone for keeping me in your thoughts and prayer. I will have my staples out tomorrow from my regualar doc. I had no bruising and my incisions look real good. WOW, I still have a hard time beleiving that I had this done and will ACTUALLY get rid of the weight. Have a very merry christmas! ~Mich

Guest guest
Welcome home , Merry Christmas! You are now set for a wonderful New Year!! I am glad to hear everything went so well!! How are you doing? Hey, you said your regular doc is going to remove your staples? How long were you in Durham? I thought you had to stay down there long enough to get them removed there and go to another clinic? You drove down, right? How was that? Where did you stay? I am anxious to hear the details. I am so eager to get down there!!!! Hope all is going well for you! Bay City, MI Back from Durham > Hello everyone. I am back from dancing with the doctor. Guest guest
>>>>>>> Glad you're back, and everything went so well for you!!! I kinda feel like this is my " first " Christmas since it is the NeW me!! You'll gradually get use to the fact that you're gonna be small someday.. I'm just about 2 months out, and I can finally see this surgery working. It's not my will-power, or a diet I am following.. it has nothing to do with cheating, or back sliding... I am going to loose weight, plain and simple because: I'm not eating very much anymore!! Life is wonderful again. My husband looked over at me after a 12 hour day of shopping on the 23rd, he touched my cheek and smiled at me, saying... " it is so good to have you back!! " I not only feel like I'm back! I feel like a whole new person!! One that I'm starting to like again, because I don't feel guilty for being fat. Hugs and welcome to the " other side " Trudy Back from Durham Hello everyone.
