Guest guest
I am trying to figure out if Malanga is allowed in the SCD diet. My mom has always claimed that it has gut healing properties. I remember using it for Mickie when she had severe diahrrea years ago. From what I have read about it. Malanga is a poison if not cooked, but healing if boiled or cooked. Is anyone here from Nigeria or has knowledge of Malanga, please let me know. Guest guest
Hi Zurama, I am not from Nigeria but I did some " googling " and found that Maranga is a starch. I therefore do not recommend it for SCD. I am so sorry. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xanthosoma Mimi
