Guest guest
Thanks MiMi. I have a bag of 25 pounds of black eyed-peas-LOL- and needed to know if I should keep them around. However, upon checking the online list again of legals, I do clearly see " GREEN " peas are OK. at some stage. Nothing green about black-eyed peas. Back to clearing out illegals from the house. Hubby went tomato juice shopping for me and picked up some legal apple cider upon request( no natural flavors added!). He then proceeded to pick up a coconut/pineapple blend full of GUMS. Pointers on educating hubby since he does some shopping? Would it just be best to have the list with our local brands that check out and instruct to not stray from the list? Thanks, Joy Mom to Truman, wife to made PB/almond flour cookies last night to show family SCD is not all bad- they loved them! starting stage one later this week. Guest guest
Hi Joy, That is an excellent strategy to use with husbands and others who want to help you with the shopping. Another strategy is to give your family the book that details the problem of food additives: Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills (Paperback) by L. Blaylock http://www.amazon.com/Excitotoxins-Taste--L-Blaylock/dp/0929173252/ref=pd\ _bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1198636155&sr=8-2 That book will transform anyone into a careful shopper.
