Guest guest
Hi All, I can tell there are some veteran scd dieters out there. I would like to know if and when my son may lose his edginess. He has been like this for a long time. We are on the diet for nearly 1 month, and his bm's are improved, but he still has some usual behaviors which seem to come from his anxiety. Could use some advice. Thanks, Suma
Guest guest
Hi Suma, What are all the symptoms that your child has? What are you feeding your son? Are the veggies and fruit cooked, peeled and seeded? Any manufactured foods? Supplements? Mimi > Hi All, > I can tell there are some veteran scd dieters out there. Guest guest
Hi Mimi, All fruits/veggies are cooked, peeled, seeded. He is 14, and hungry often. No manufactured foods. Supplements are limited to Peptizyde. I have not introduced him to anything in stage 2, except avocado, which he did not tolerate. He does do yogurt, up to 4 oz a day. We are stuck on stage 1, because it is easy for me. Should I change something? Thank you, Suma > > Hi All, > > I can tell there are some veteran scd dieters out there. Guest guest
Suma, What foods is he eating? Any carrots? Some beginners have trouble tolerating carrots. I am glad that you are seeing improvements in GI function. Improvements in behavior take a longer time to appear with teenagers. How about B12? Elaine recommended that before the DAN doctors discovered it. Mimi
