Guest guest Posted December 28, 2000 Report Share Posted December 28, 2000 Hey Gang! I am one step closer!! I found out my policy does cover WLS including gastric bypass. I spoke with my PCP's office and she feels " Confident " it will be approved. She was on the phone with CIGNA when I went in today to pick up all of my test results (EKG, CBC, etc.). Everything looks great. I need to schedule my psych evaluation ASAP. Any suggestions for the Raleigh area? I finished my patient letter this week, and had my mom write the family support letter over the Christmas holidays. I still have a couple of contacts left and then I am done! Then it's time for the clinic and then onto scheduling the surgery! Thanks to everyone for their support, words of wisdom, " tension breakers " , and the overall knowledge you guys share with the group. Thanks so much!
