Wow....here I sit in the hotel in Durham. How can it be that 6

months ago I began a journey that will finally come to a wonderful

end/BEGINNING tomorrow Although I had been to clinic back on

11/7, I sat in again this afternoon so I could feel a little more

relaxed and I could meet my littermates. Dr. R was his usual

wonderfully charming and funny self. He just amazes me how he

remembers so many details...and how even though he has performed well

over 1000 surgeries...we are all so very important to him.

I've already had my dose of MOM (YUCK!!!) and now I'm headed to the

hot tub for one last soak before I settle in for the night. Thanks

for all of your prayers for each of us that will be dancing tomorrow.

I am off to settle my nerves and calm my fears.....and deal with the

excitement that a brand new me is just around the corner!!!

If you're reading this before your surgery, I just wanted to say " have a

wonderful dance " . If it's anything like mine, you'll be fine. I was out only 33

min. and up and walking about 6 hours later, sent home the next morning!!

God will be watching over you, I am sure 'cause I believe he guides Dr. R's hand

(and his heart)!
