Pecans

I understand that pecans are supposed to be easier to digest than almonds.

I've been using almonds right along (unblanched, except for almond milk) with no

noticeable problems.  I had that horrible experience with pecan pie on

Thanksgiving and have had really no pecans since.  Til this morning.  Made

pancakes (Deanna's Gold) using pecan butter and had with butter and peach

sauce.  All SCD legal.  I have been in a fog all day, abdomen bloated, just

not feeling right, some nausea even, and pressure again in lower bowel.  Same

exact way I felt on T-day, except I did not use *any* honey in these pancakes or

in the peach sauce.  Is it possible I am sensitive to pecans but *not* to

almonds, even though almonds are higher in sal's and I am using them

unblanched?

Thanks for any insight,

My sister in law is sensitive to all nuts except almonds. We also have a friend

whose biggie is almonds - gives her migraines - but not other nuts. A child my

sister knows is anaphylactic to tangerines but eats oranges - go figure!

mmmmmmmm - muffins for breakfast this morning - waiting for them to cool a bit -

but the smell is making me impatient ! ; )
