Guest guest
Really???? There is a legal tomato paste??? I love Trader Joe's and buy as much as possible of our food there. They are great for the wallet and have lots of SCD-legal things. But I thought that there was no canned tomato product that was legal aside from some juices? Personally, I have given up on using any sort of tomato-sauce-type thing. Boiling down the juice never works for me, I rarely have the 5 or so hours to cook $12 worth of plum tomatoes and mill them to a sauce, and the Lusardi's sauce on Digestive Wellness is $6 for a small jar, so we've only had it once as a treat..... Guest guest
Dearest One Ellen, When I make the tomato paste, I get out my stock pot with out the lid on it and put the tomato juice in to simmer so that the tomato juice does not splash on the stove top. And it doesn't take as many hours as you have mentioned. At least not 5 hours or so. More like about an hour or so.... Loving Care, Grammy Gay ZagorskyGoldberg zagorskygoldberg@... wrote:Really????
