Guest guest
Hi Everybody, I've waited as long as I can to spread my wonderful news! I wanted to fill out my form for Dr. R before sharing! I went to the doctor for my 5 month weigh in this morning. I am one of the slower losers but today I am probably the happiest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stepped on the scales and weighed................... are you ready for this........................ 295 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippppppppppeeeeeeeeee, Wowsssiiiiiiiiieeeeeee, wow, wow!!! Finally after 8 years of yo-yo dieting I am below 300 pounds! I'm still in shock! I have lost 9 3/4 inches from my waist alone, for a total of 38 3/4 inches all over. I had to refrain from jumping on the roof to shout it to all of Lumberton!!!!!!!!!!!!! ***grin**** For all of you who have encouraged me when I was in the dumps about the slow weight loss, thank you from the bottom of my now happier heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I never lose another pound I will feel like the surgery was worth it! I love the control I have over my eating, and I love all the new friends I have made. And I love being able to do normal stuff with out being tired and winded! Thank you so much Dr. Rutledge! I know you hear it all the time, but I truly, honestly mean you have given me a new life. Now the decisions are mine as to what I do with the gift you gave me! OK enough with the mushy stuff I'm setting my next goal, to weigh under 226. The least I have weighed in my adult life was 226 and I had been to WW to lose that! If I ever make 226 I'm sure I will get on my roof and yell it out!!!!!!!!!!! LOL OK, I'll go and quit gloating over my new numbers, but let me say it one more time, I only weigh 295! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rosemary Locklear MGB 7/24/00 347/295 YIPPEE!!!!!
