Guest guest
, It just depends on the person. Delayed food reactions are common in people with food intolerances. That is what IgG testing tests for. In my experience, my son will have his first reaction within hours and he is autistic. For other people, it is different. I remember someone on another list figuring out that if she ate cashews, she would start itching a couple of days later. In my case, I know in the past that sometimes I will have a mild reaction to a few foods and not realize it until I ate all the foods together. Then I had a worse reaction with my RA. So it just depends on the person. That's why it is wise to wait. B. Guest guest
, Most of us wait a few days with each food. Then you can be sure there is no reaction. I would say at least 2 full days. I personally wait 4 days. When there is a reaction, it does not necessarily mean he can never eat it. It means wait and try again in a few weeks. I hope that helps! B.
