Dear Listmates,

Today is a very happy and satisfying day for me regarding SCD and the

autism community.

A few months ago, McCarthy did a media tour to promote her

book, " Louder Than Words, " in which she details the healing and

victorious journey of her son Evan. , a talented actress and

comedienne is as articulate as she is beautiful and her appearances

on the most popular TV talk shows spotlights ASD and continues

drawing it to increased national attention. credited dietary

intervention as an important protocol in her arsenal of treatments

for Evan. is the official spokesperson for TACA. She and Rosie

O'Donnell vowed last year to gain more national attention for autism

and to work towards a cure and has held up her end of the vow

and then some!.

Something provoked hostile emails to TACA (Talk About Curing Autism)

from some SCD advocates and was hurtful to the principals in that

organization. TACA is overflowing with resources for ASD families.

TACA is one of an extensive network of similar organizations

dedicated to unraveling this epidemic disease that kidnaps one in

every one hundred and fifty children and its founder Ackerman

was contending with an onslaught of communications following 's

media appearances when the negative mail arrived.

I vowed to I would do my best to repair any damages and hoped

that there was a place for accurate information about SCD on the

website. I was encouraged by Stan Kurtz, an SCD advocate and a person

who has encouraged and supported McCarthy. He has told a

lot about SCD. I submitted an overview of SCD and today it appears on

the TACA site at:

http://www.talkaboutcuringautism.org/gfcf-diet/sc-diet.htm

I urge SCD-ers to join me in expressing our appreciation to of

her dedication and endless hard work and inclusion of SCD as a great

dietary option for ASD. I hope we will have a warm and ongoing

relationship with TACA.

The email address is below. Please put 's name in the subject

line. I will greatly appreciate this. Thanks to , many, many more

families will have incentive to explore SCD as an option for their

progress and healing.
