Guest guest
This has been an enlightening two days to read the posts on this list and the post op list. This surgery is serious business! This is not said to scare anyone. Just be informed. I am now nine days post op and it is getting better. Someone asked on an earlier post who the " new post op " was......... Holley. I had surgery on the 20th and it was difficult! Please feel free to e-mail me privately if you have any questions. I know I needed the surgery and had to have the surgery but that still does not take away the pain or suffering getting there. Hopefully, I will be feeling as well as the other post ops and it will be a whole new world for me! Hello to all the post ops I met the week of surgery :-) Holley sville, Virginia pre-op clinic: 345 post-op clinic:
Guest guest
Hi , my name is and I just saw an ad on MGB. I'm considering the operation. I'd appreciate anything you can tell me. You say you're in pain, I'd like to ask how long are you in pain and how much pain are you in? I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you, and if you can think of anything that you think I should know please tell me. Thanks
Guest guest
Dear , It is a very serious step, this WLS decision, MGB or other. And I, like many others, found the first 2 months, give or take, to be quite trying for a variety of reasons. You are in this group with some excellent company! I believe, though, that you will do well and soon will begin to believe that the light at the end of this tunnel is NOT an incoming train! In other words, it really does get better. I will be 2 months post MGB on the 3rd of January. Finally, I can get further than 20 feet from my bathroom! Finally I alone can not provide the gas to heat my world! Finally I can eat real food and have a tummy that stays quiet! Our problems are different, but all seem to resolve within the 2 month time-frame. Keep your chin up, it will be OK. Better than OK. If I can help. . . PhillyJude
