Can anyone give me some advise. Dr. R sent me my Letter for insurance in

November. Well, since then, I have change my insurance from UnitedHealthcare

to Cigna. United had strict exclusions to WLS. My Cigna plan will approve if

deemed medically necessary. Well, I need to get a NEW letter with the NEW

insurance information. Has anyone had to do that?? What steps should I

take..any suggestions?? Thanks for your help in advance

Thanks for you help!!!)...Does it matter that the header on the letter has

all my information for my old insurance company??

From pass exp. of working in a MD office and getting new Ins. You should have

it changed because they can deny you by saying it was a pre exiting

condition. Unless things has change. I would Subjects you talk to Barbara

in Dr. Rutledge office before during anything. of land.

The letter is the same, if you have a copy of it just send it off again.

Or, you can start from scratch and fill out the questionaire again. That

will automatically generate a new letter.

I too had to switch ins. co. after a letter had been

sent to the first one. I sent an email to Dr. R office

and asked them to update my patient info form with the

changes. They made the changes but I had to ask a few

times for a letter to be sent to my new ins. co. Just

stay on top of it, keep checking.
