Guest guest
Hey Missie: I know just how you feel. I to have had to stop competing on the Black Belt circuit and now I only judge. In my home dojang, I do work out and continue to do kata, self defense, ilbo terian, some kicks (nothing too high and no jump kicks) and will some light sparring, but just to keep moving around. I also spend 3 to 5 hours a week teaching. The fatigue is a killer, but I find that if I work out, I feel better and sleep better. I am pear-shaped, so while I am a small-medium on top I am a large (sz 12) on bottom, so I have purchased a recumbent bike to keep the legs and butt in shape and try to do 20 minutes a day on the days that I don't get into the dojang. I am not crazy about being pregnant either. I did not much care for it 15 and 20 years ago and I definately don't care for it now at 41! Although I have to admit that knowing what was happening and what to expect is easier than not! Also, I have not really had morning sickness at all with this baby, but I have dumped a couple of times - that was NO FUN and on stuff that normally would not make me dump - like chicken salad - what the hell is up with that?? Every day is an adventure. Hopefully we find out today if it is a girl or boy. Go Team Pink! Oh and on the cheesy front - I counted back from my due date which puts the date of conception on our anniversary! How funny is that!
