Guest guest
HI Sasha, I had that problem with my Youngest daughter it was awful. They finally let me take Milk of Mag . Nothing else would work Normally Grape juice makes me Go. I would drink it and drink it. Nothing worked Stool softeners would not work. If you take MOM don't do it often. Have you tried popcorn? Last time ( when I was PG in June/July) I ate a small bag of pop corn every night and I was regular every day Sorry you feel so horrible. I do know the feeling.Right now I am about every other Day and Constipation feels worse after you have had WLS. Guest guest
I had lots of problems with constipation when I was pregnant, and it got worse as time went along. My prenatal had a stool softener in it, but it wasn't enough. I started taking a generic version of " colace " -- up to three per day. It's a small gel pill. When I had a c-section, they gave me colace in the hospital -- one in the morning, and one at night. I took MOM when it was really bad, but found that the adding the colace (or generic version of docusate sodium) -- one with every meal -- kept me regular. And, now I'm not pregnant, but take an iron pill every other day, and when I do -- I also take two of the stool softeners to help balance everything out. Hope you're feeling better soon!
