Keri,

I am not only a post op WLS woman, but I am also pregnant with my

first. I never thought I would have kids because of issues having

been so obese. My OB has said that I am " Extremely " normal. She said

that she is so use to treating the complicated pregnacy that it is

just a refreshing sight to have me come in completely normal. I have

gained only 12 lbs and I am 31 weeks pregnant. The doc would like me

to gain a total of 20 lbs. I had lost 125-130 lbs before I found out

I was pregnant. My surgeon had told me that I had approximiately 40 -

50 more lbs to loose. So I am hoping that I will be able to take off

the baby weight and the last bit of weight left from the surgery

after baby is here.

I eat just about anything that I want. I have been told by both my

surgeon and OB not to deprive myself of anything. So as long as it

doesnt make me sick and I am getting a well rounded range of foods I

can have just about anything. I eat constantly and never thought I

would say this but I am sick of eating. I can not wait until I have

complete control again. Soon just a few more weeks. Other than that I

have had a very typical pregnancy with normal labs, hormones, aches,

pains and odd cravings.

I wish you the very best in your efforts.

~Hugs~ Shalonda and baby boy Malachi (due soon)
