Went to the doctor's today - according to the ultrasound

technologist and the doctor of radiology who came in to double check

her work - ITS A GIRL!!

The doc was glad that I have gained a couple of pounds which puts me

at 16 weeks and 3 pounds gained. He said in the next month she

shoudl double her weight, which is 7 oz now, so she should be 14 oz

and double her weight again in the month after that! One caution I

did not know about is that gastric bypass patients are more prone to

intestinal infections, so if I " dump " again, he wants to test me for

a gastrointestinal bug.

By the way, I started wearing maternity clothes this week. I

figure, heck I am going to be really uncomfortable for the next 5

months, I may as well be comfortable now!
